MEET JENNY SHI
Jenny Shi brings over four decades of experience across fashion manufacturing, export and brand building. In 1983, she founded the business that became CONLIA, one of China’s pioneering homewear brands. Today, she brings that experience to ModaBridge, helping international fashion businesses navigate China’s supply chain—from product development and sourcing to production and delivery. Her approach combines practical expertise, curiosity and a belief that lasting partnerships are built on trust, honest communication and reliable execution.
Our founder Jenny Shi has spent more than four decades in the fashion industry — not only as an entrepreneur, but across manufacturing, product development, export, retail and brand building.
Her journey began in the early days of China’s modern garment industry. In 1983, she started the business that would later become CONLIA, one of China’s pioneering homewear brands. What began with garment manufacturing and export grew into a nationally recognized consumer brand, earning major industry and national brand honors along the way.
That experience taught Jenny a lesson that continues to shape the way she does business today: great products matter, but lasting businesses are built on trust, consistency, honest communication and reliable execution.
ModaBridge is built on that belief.
Today, Jenny brings decades of hands-on industry experience to help international fashion businesses work more confidently with China’s supply chain. Together with the ModaBridge team, she supports clients across product development, sourcing, supplier coordination, production and delivery — with one goal: to make the process clearer, more dependable and easier to manage.
For Jenny, sourcing is not simply about finding the lowest price or introducing a buyer to a factory. It starts with understanding what the client is trying to build, finding the right manufacturing partner for that product, identifying potential problems early, and making sure expectations are understood on both sides.
Having experienced the fashion business from manufacturing to brand building — through growth, change and reinvention — Jenny understands both sides of the partnership. She knows what factories need in order to perform well, and what brands need in order to feel confident placing an order thousands of miles away.
She also believes experience should never become a reason to stop learning. Even after decades in the industry, Jenny continues to embrace new ideas, new technology and new generations of entrepreneurs.
That combination of experience, curiosity and long-term thinking is at the heart of ModaBridge.
We are not here simply to connect you with a factory. We are here to help you build a supply chain you can trust.
